Why we need you:

  • We are looking for a Data Analytics and Reporting Engineer to join our team. The primary goal of the Data Analytics and Reporting Engineer at Wisk is to provide data analytics, reporting and technical project management support by collecting and analyzing, creating dashboards and tools, and managing projects and data related to the implementation of HR Technology. You will be part of the People Operations team that is focused on implementing data driven outcomes to support an exciting time of growth at Wisk.

What you will do:

  • Collect and analyze data from various sources and multiple HR Systems to create comprehensive reports for management.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and other data visualizations to support decision-making.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses as needed to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements based on data analysis.
  • Support data governance and data quality initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to data analytics and reporting processes.
  • Assess current system and utilization; identify and recommend improvements such as training, customization, and enhancement to maximize value and efficiency of each system.
  • Collaborate with HR staff and organizational leadership to support short and long-term information system objectives; develop a plan to modify or replace HRIS applications, modules, and systems to meet those objectives. 
  • Document and create audit processes to ensure data is clean and flowing optimally through our systems.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends and development in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

What you have done:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or business administration
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Desired:

  • 1 year experience in related area.
  • Understanding data governance and data quality best practices is a plus.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
  • Experience working with People Operations related data sets.

$68,000 - $105,800 a year

Pay Range the Company expects to pay: $68,000 - $105,800 per year - The starting base salary within this range for this role varies based on factors such as your geographical location, and your relevant job-related experience that is consistent with a business necessity.
