The Challenge:

Everyone knows security needs to be “baked in” to a system architecture, but you know how to bake it in. You can identify and implement ways to harden systems and reduce their attack surface. What if you could use your cyber engineering skills to design and build secure systems for national security. We’re looking for an engineer who can create solutions for national security that will stand up to even the most advanced cyber threats.

This role is for a self-driven, problem solver with a development background and mindset to join like-minded and skilled team. The role is high profile, high impact, efficient development and technical lead engineer role to improve and optimize The CDM solution at any of the 26 agencies in our portfolio. This team’s focus has two parts, provide expert guidance internally and to all clients for solution data challenges, and to quickly develop and deploy MVP proof of concept solutions to resolve our programs most challenging and unaddressed solution improvement needs or data problems. Quickly gain trust of internal and external client technical counterparts through combination of skillset, solution awareness, and creative problem solving. A rare opportunity to creatively solve complex problems and drive full development lifecycle, design into implementation, and in live client environments. Ideal skillset has balance of hands-on development experience and strong verbal communication to lead in-depth technical discussions, implementations, or agency working sessions. Become the smartest person in the room on client solutions, customizations, and awareness of how outside factors impact each solution. Apply development skillset to resolve both small and large issues with greatest positive impact to the program including reducing client staff burden, integrating new data, and find ways to scale improvements of current solutions across Agency portfolio. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.
