Senior Analyst | Data Architect (MarTech Consulting)
Are you passionate about solving problems and working with clients? Our MarTech Engineering and Innovations team is seeking a Senior Analyst | Data Architect with a strong consultative approach, passion for driving value for clients and experience implementing MarTech technologies. We’re looking for a Python and DevOps geek who is responsible for moving data, talking to third-party APIs, and documentation for a wide range of clients. In this role you’d be working directly with clients to gain an understanding of their business objectives and data requirements to execute ETL processes across multiple environments with an understanding of business intelligence plans.
This teammate should exude enthusiasm for learning and possess a strong command of Python and ETL tools, coupled with a track record of proficient programming, emphasizing the creation of modular, well-tested, and easily maintainable code. Primary Responsibilities
- You will solve technical issues for various clients, assess their needs, find and implement solutions to these requests, and explain the results to the client in a way that makes sense to them. Each request will come with its nuances and you will find creative solutions to our client's complex problems.
- You’ll work on a team that creates trusted partnerships with clients in order to consistently extend and expand our business relationships while also guiding them in decision making and strategic choices.
- Deliver strong Python and SQL development and maintenance techniques surrounding data movement to include technologies.
- Investigate and understand different data sources and ability to connect to a wide variety of 3rd party APIs.
- Assist in architecting, mapping, developing, and testing data movement to data warehouses (Redshift and others), with emphasis on the Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) process.
- Development of ETL source and target mapping design/specifications based on the business requirements and ETL standards and architecture.
- Assist in driving roadmap and execution of critical client engagements by collaborating with your lead, internal team, and clients.
- Develop, document, and execute SQL/stored procedures/server scripts as needed to support ETL code.
- Determine ETL hardware/software requirements and assist with production setup & migrations.
- Growth minded to proactively create and discover new MarTech capabilities to offer our clients and internal partners.
Desired Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related fields (e.g., business administration, information systems, computer science, behavioral economics, psychology, analytics, etc.)
- 1+ year demonstrated experience in a consulting role solving client problems utilizing technical solutions
- Must have proven experience in working with a team to implement end to end data products
- Strong background in UNIX and Bash administration
- Familiarity with AWS and other cloud hosting solutions a plus
- Proven knowledge of Python, integrating with APIs, and ETL standards and architecture.
- Ability to match appropriate methodologies and data sources to business needs, client requirements, and research questions
- Experience influencing and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Solid client management, time management and organizational skills
- Must be curious, self-driven, analytical, and excited to play with data
- Superior flexibility and collaboration skills, and the ability to draw on them in difficult, ambiguous, and fast-moving situations
- A proven track record of understanding business challenges and translating them into value-add solutions - strong analytical and problem- solving skills
- Must be located in the U.S. and hold citizenship to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship requirements
- Must be willing to complete the appropriate application and investigation process for obtaining and maintaining Federal security clearance

This is a full-time remote opportunity. We currently have teammates located all across the country in 24 different states and 3 countries internationally. Don’t get us wrong, we love to explore. However, due to the nature of our consulting agency, you must remain in the same state/time zone and digital nomads will not be considered. Travel up to 5% for business purposes, determined by client requests or industry events.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $72,000 - $101,250 USD annually DOE
