We’re looking for an experienced data architect like you to deliver leading-edge solutions for a national security mission.
As a data architect on our team, you’ll use your extensive technical expertise to design data architecture solutions. You will use your extensive technical expertise to design data architecture solutions for big data analytics, cloud computing, and managed services. You’ll resolve routine data architecture issues in collaboration with business analysts and technology teams by leveraging technical expertise in Databricks and Apache Spark to make decisions and recommendations on future data architecture developments and assess, design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms using the latest Big Data tools.
In this role, you’ll grow your technical expertise, apply best practices and use tools like Databricks, Apache Spark, and multi-cloud platforms to architect data systems and standup data platforms, build out ETL pipelines, interface with data stores, and design and build data models, business applications, and business intelligence reports. You’ll guide your team as it designs, defines, develops, and tests cloud solution components, and you’ll serve as a liaison between clients and developers to ensure that requirements are met, and solutions are delivered.

- 7+ years of experience in developing and designing as a Data Architect
- 5+ years of experience in data systems or data platform architecture or implementation
- 3+ years of experience in Apache Spark with either Python or Scala
- 2+ years of experience with data platforms, including Databricks, and cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with the Lakehouse Medallion architecture
- Ability to develop and orchestrate data pipelines using Databricks
- Ability to work with stakeholders including data, design, product and executive teams and assisting them with data-related technical issues
- Ability to Identify, design and implement internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes
- Top Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with AWS data services
- Knowledge of Data Mesh framework

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $81,800.00 to $186,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.Work Model
